| ICAM-1 （CD54） is a single chain membrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of a variety of non-haematopoietic and haematopoietic cell types and has roles in signal transduction, cell signalling and lymphocyte adhesion. Soluble ICAM-1 is detectable in the plasma and is elevated in patients with various inflammatory conditions. Intercellular adhesion molecule 1 （ICAM-1） is the cellular receptor for the major group of human rhinovirus serotypes, including human rhinovirus 14 （HRV14） and HRV16. | |
